Assalamualaikum and heyy guyss!

We almost reach the end of July and time sure flies fast, huh? Just another few more months to enter 2019 but I'm sure I will stay busy with lots of things for sure ahahaha.

Anyway, as for this time, I'm back for another skincare review that I have procrastinated a really long time due to my lack of time and even if I have such a little time, I spend it up with relaxing around because I'm too tired to write anything out hahaha.

(p/s : As for anyone who has ever been wondering ; 'What the heck is this girl has been busy for?'. The answer is I'm neither working nor further study, but I'm a 24/7 'housewife' and a babysitter and by that means that I'm handling all the things inside the house including taking care both of my younger siblings as both of my parents are working. I need to prepare breakfast, I need to send them to schools and there's a lot more household chores that I need to be done. That's all and thank you for coming to my ted talks.)

Okay. Shall we proceed to the review? Let's go!

[This review is not sponsored by any third party/person. Everything written is 100% based on my own experience. And please remember, if you are going to use this products, always keep in mind that YMMV]

Product's Texture

This hydrating toner is just like the other toner which is watery and very light compared to Hydrating Lotion (Rich) and Premium Hydrating Lotion which is quite thick and essence-like plus it really does absorb fast. I don't have to wait for a long time for the product to penetrate into my skin. I just dab the product a few times and voila, done! It might be tacky and sticky at first but when it fully absorb in your skin, you will get a smooth and supple skin without the tackiness especially for those oily skin's folks.

Easy to dispense and most importantly, you can see the amount of the product left as it is a transparent bottle.

How To Use?

✿ Use twice a day after double cleansing (if you're using exfoliating toner like me, use this toner before ET or you can either use this toner after ET differs to your preference)
✿ Apply on palms or you can also use with cotton pad and gently pat onto skin until thoroughly absorbed.

Does it Work for Me?

This product came in a set along with the Hydra & Whitening Face Wash and Hydrating Water Gel that I bought during my first skincare haul. Honestly said, this products is absolutely a game changer in my skincare routine and really helps my dehydrated skin a lot!

When you're skin is dehydrated, your skin is actually lack of water and it will create more oil to make up for the missing water hence your skin can feel oily and dry at the same time. That is what actually happening to me which I have combination to oily skin.

And when you're having such a great amount of  oil at your skin, the excess oil will trapped in the pore and combine with the dead skin cells and bacteria on the surface of the skin and inside the pore, pimples, blackheads and other blemishes will form.

So, to overcome this problem, you can try to find product that contains humectants (ingredients that draws water molecules out of its environment towards itself which means it will draws water to your skin to retain its natural moisture) such as Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, Sodium Lactate, Urea, Lactic Acid, Sorbitol and Butylene Glycol.

So, back to our topic, this is my HOLY GRAIL product that has actually works wonder for my skin. My skin is no longer combination to oily but more to normal to oily. I did not expect that my skin really loves Hyaluronic Acid and I'm already on my second bottle! It has been almost 4 months since the first day I started to use this product and the results are absolutely amahzing and I can see the result 1-2 months after using this product. Can't believe that my skin has fully recovered from those excessive oil and I can't being grateful enough!

Plus, according to Kak Mai, HYDRATION IS THE KEY!
Before you tackle your acne problem with dozens of acne treatments, I suggest you to hydrate your skin first as if your skin is fully hydrated, you won't be having the serious acne problems unless if you are struggling with PIH/PIE because you still need extra treatment besides hydration [read here how to remove PIH/PIE acne scars]

Pros :

✿ Fast absorption
                            ✿ Really hydrate my skin
✿ Does not has any weird smell
✿ Made my skin smooth and supple
✿ A little drops goes a long way (mine last up to 3-4 months)

Cons :

✿ Quite pricey
✿ Contains paraben so if you're allergic to paraben, you might need to avoid trying this product

Final Rating :

SUITS | K-Drama Review

July 01, 2018 Nurul Aida Aziz 0 Comments

Assalamualaikum and hello! We meet again guys!

Ahhh I have been very busy lately and all of my previous posts were all about skincare so this time, I'm gonna do a review of another K-Drama which has ended last Tuesday (26 July 2018) named SUITS.

I don't know if I'm the only one who hyped over this series but I SWEAR THIS SERIES IS THE BEST! I mean, I really loves a series that focusing on a career like Lawless Lawyer or A Poem A Day or Criminal Minds (South Korea) or Cross or Introverted Boss or Emergency Couple or Super Daddy Yeol or Who Are You? and many more as the list go on hahaha  (which I gain knowledge about the career) and it's an extra if they put some, you know love story about the main character or the even the side character because to me, I think that is the kind of reality that we have. We have own our career and also found the other half of us in the same time. So, I really loves this kind of plot instead of just a normal love story.

I actually had missed lots of episodes that aired on the tv on 8TV (I'm grateful that 8TV Malaysia serves most of the best K-Drama starting 2015) and I'm hella worried if this series ended before I could watch the final episodes so I just read the recap of the previous episodes to catch up and crossing my fingers that the series won't ended on tv hahaha. But guess what? I do lucky enough that it still hasn't ended yet and that week (Monday & Tuesday) was the final week! If only you could see how happy I am that night and I'm almost dancing to myself hahaha.

So, let's cut the talking and let's started my review~

Title : SUITS

Genre : Legal drama

Number of Episodes : 16

Main Cast    : Jang Dong-gun as Choi Kang-seok
                                                               : Park Hyung-sik as Go Yeon-woo
                                                               : Chae Jung-an as Hong Da-ham
                                                               : Jin Hee-kyung as Kang Ha-yeon
                                                               : Ko Sung-hee as Kim Ji-na
                                                               : Choi Gwi-hwa as Cha Geun-sik

Personal Rating : ★★★★★/5

Synopsis :

Go Yeon-woo, a high school dropout who have an excellent memory had to quit school due to his poor background but he dreamed of becoming a lawyer and never had a chance. Both of his parents died in an accident when he was a kid. He work as a parking valet but the job does not gave him much earning to pay his grandmother's hospital bills so he had no other choice but to accept the job that his friend had offered him ; delivering drugs to a hotel room. But then he realized that it was a trap. At that time, Choi Kang-seok, a capable and distinguished lawyer of a prestigious law firm of Kang & Ham held an interviews session to recruit a rookie lawyer for the firm. Yeon-woo then dashed to Kang-seok's office to avoid being caught by the police. He pretended to be one of the candidate to be interview for the position. He managed to slip in the interview position after being questioned one question by Da-ham, Kang-seok's assistant which it seems to be that Yeon-woo is the only person who managed to have the right answer and that what made Kang-seok interested besides his intelligence and excellent memory ability. Kang-seok then learnt that Yeon-woo is a high school dropout and does not even have license to practice law but however, he decided to hire him as a rookie lawyer for the firm even though his own decision could put his career in an ultimate danger. How will Yeon-woo survived being a fake lawyer? Will anyone ever know his secrets other than Kang-seok? Will Kang-seok's decision worth the risk?

Plot :

The story started in a way that mostly everyone could understand and curious enough to make people  to continue watching the next episode including me. The plot expanded really well and not much plot twist happened which I really like and each character has their own strength in this story. I think everyone will be able to understand thoroughly every events that had happened and links that connected to each events but as for me, I somehow get confused with the plot and what was actually happening right there because the talking was really fast plus with all the facts coming out from their mouth plus the subtitle was in Bahasa Malaysia which terms might differ so I'M LOST! But fortunately, after reading the recaps, I finally be able to catch up with what were happening and come into my own senses. By the way, I really loves how they save the climax ; the part where everyone finally know that Yeon-weo is a fake lawyer at the last two episodes of 15 and 16 and let us know the reasons why Kang-seok insisted on choosing Yeon-weo as a rookie lawyer even though he does not have license to practice law. These last 2 episodes were really heart-warming as we can see that Yeon-weo is finally equal to Kang-seok  and how badly Kang-seok wantes to denied how similar he and Yeon-weo could be. I have a good instincts that they gonna be a really great team partner!

Characters :

As for characters and in the terms of reality, we can see that Yeon-weo is somehow a person who has a great feeling's traits where as he always felt sympathy and learnt how the people in his cases going through especially if it's not his own clients which is really bad in Kang-seok viewpoint and he hate it (at first hahah) but that what made him special from the other lawyer even though he is a fake lawyer but that does not stop him from doing his responsibilities as a rookie lawyer of Kang & Ham.

He kept doing his best despite of being told by Kang-seok that his way of handling his cases were wrong. He tried to use the chances that Kang-seok gave to him to change his life. And he's an honest guy too!

Let's talk about Kang-seok. He's a capable lawyer and he also always tried his best for the Kang & Ham's firm. Sometimes, I do questioned his actions most of time since he has the great thinking's trait which opposite with Yeon-weo and he always kept everything to himself (and made himself sick)

But despite that, he isn't a person whom put himself first before others. I think he finally learnt how to protect those people around him ever since Yeon-weo started to work there and I'm pretty sure he actually learnt a lot from Yeon-weo but of course he won't admit it pffftt hahaha. By the end of episode 16, I can see a strong bond between him and Yeon-weo which I'm really looking forward if there is any chance of  Season 2.

As for Geun-shik, I really loathe him as he continuously bugging Yeon-weo about being in the firm and kept threatening him that he suspects something fishy about Yeon-weo and won't let him out of his sight. (I mean, get a life, Geun-shik! You have better things to do instead of talking and feeding your goldfish!)

But, it seems that the tables has turned in the episode 15 where he started to realized that Ham Gi-taek just using him for his own benefits to destroy the company and he changed for the sake of the firm. (I just like this new Geun-shik!)  And he even vote when Kang-seok said that everyone should acknowledge Yeon-weo as their own colleague even though he is a fake lawyer as he has saved the firm twice!

And my favourite scene of Geun-shik was where he came to 'rescue' Yeon-weo when he turn himself in at the police station. It was rare to see Geun-shik with Yeon-weo without the hate feeling but I
must say I loved this scene!

And finally, let's appreciate Geun-shik's funny face hahahaha

p/s : I just have time to review three characters so if I have a free time, I will update it later, okay?

Conclusion :

This a drama that I think everybody should have a chance to watch, like GO WATCH NOW because it really worth all the hype. I don't watch the original masterpiece but I think I really prefer this one. You can get into the trains of feelings when watching this drama. You can feel funny, sad or even angry in one time but I really do cried a lot in episodes 15 and 16.

Yeon-weo was really close with his grandma and he will do his very best to make his grandma happy and stay in a healthy condition so when he failed, he really felt that everything was his fault but his grandma was the nicest person in the Earth and the wisest person too. I wonder if I will get wiser as I am older as grandma too.

Just watch this masterpiece and get the feelings by yourself and I guarantee you that you will love it!

Where to Watch :

So, this the end of my review for today. I hope that if any of you has started to watch this drama, please watch it until the final episodes and I really hope that you will enjoy this drama!

See you in my next entry! Thank you for reading!
