NOTICE OF HIATUS

Assalamualaikum and heyy guyss~

Well, today entry has nothing to do with any skincare reviews or K-Drama reviews but I want to inform you guys that I will be on hiatus from publishing any entries for the upcoming 2 or 3 months.

This is mainly because I can't barely find any of my free time to publish some entries by months since my parents' schedule has been ultimately full as the stated time so I decided to put my passion on writing for a hiatus.

BUT! Once everything is settle, I swear to continue my writing like usual and I kinda have lots of things to write when I come back later to redeem for the lost time. I actually wanted to write them as soon as I can but responsibility came first, guyss! 😉

So, I kinda want to give you, uhmm maybe lots of spoilers about what I'm gonna publish when I get back which are some reviews on local products that I have tried and loved and I also gonna put the thread that I'm going to make at Twitter about every local products that I have mentioned earlier, my current skincare routine and also a sneak peek on what I have on my dressing table.

I really can't wait to start writing again and pour all my passion and determination here!

Until next time, guyss! Thank you for reading and dropping by!

Product's Texture

As from it's name, we can know in a second that it's a gel type moisturizer which is very lightweight and absorbed really fast into your skin. It has a little cooling effect when you're applying this product on your face which i really like it!

Before I bought this moisturizer, I used the cream type moisturizer which tend to be heavy for oily skin and that's the reason why those my skincare products back days won't even work out for me. From the very start of using this product and to the moment when I applied this to my face, I never knew that this gel type moisturizer is actually the perfect moisturizer that I have been looking for!

Product's Packaging

This moisturizer comes in a 50ml light green opaque plastic jar with a lid without a spatula but since it's a jar, of course we can see how much the product left hahaha and yes again, you don't have to worry if you ever drop it from the high place. I'm not sure about other moisturizer that packed in a jar and have a spatula with them but this one guy, it does not come along with a spatula unlike Heimish All Clean Balm so you need to scoop it out with your own beautiful fingers or you can use the small spoon that you can buy at the supermarket, I guess?

How To Use?

✿ Use twice a day during AM and PM routine in the second last step of your skincare routine before sunscreen (AM routine) / last step of your routine (PM routine).
✿ Take sufficient amount and apply evenly on face and neck.
✿ Gently massage and pat to allow absorption into the skin.

Does it Work for Me?

As I said before, I have never try gel type moisturizer and I can happily said that these two magical combo of Hydrating Lotion (Light) and Hydrating Water Gel works miraculously to my skin and I'm glad that I have spend lots of my time by reading lots of threads from Kak MaiSis Bunny and Kak Iman about skincare ingredients and what ingredients that could help your skin that I finally managed to buy the right products for my combination to oily skin. After been using this moisturizer along with the Hydrating Lotion (Light) around 2-3 months, alhamdulillah my skin has shown some positive changes where as my skin has became less oily especially on the T-zone area but I still have issues with my nose which is it's still oily compared to the other parts of the face and I don't know what to do anymore. Asides from that, my face has been getting less 'visits' from those cheeky whiteheads after 4-5 months using these two products (and maybe I use it with other products too). And now, my skin is no longer combination to oily but it has became normal to oily like I mentioned on the previous review. And once again, Kak Mai is true - HYDRATION IS THE KEY!

Pros :

✿ Fast absorption
                            ✿ Really hydrate my skin
✿ Made my skin smooth and supple
✿ Has a little cooling effect upon applying
✿ Has some kind of citrusy smell which I like the most
✿ A little drops goes a long way (mine last up to 2 months ++)

Cons :

✿ Quite pricey especially if does not have discount
✿ Contains alcohol so if you're allergic to alcohol, you might need to
avoid trying this product

Final Rating :

★★★★★/5

Rating's Scale :

1: BAD!
[Having a terrible breakout!]

2: MEH!
[Doesn't work for me and/or having a slight issues]

3: OKAY!
[Product was great and works well on me but still lack of something]

4: GREAT!
[A really great product that works amazing on me but has a potential for me to cheat]

5: AMAHZING!
[A complete HOLY GRAIL product and I will devoted myself to you till the end of my life!]

Where to Buy?

✿ Buy it from the drugstores all around Malaysia such as Watsons
✿ Buy it online through Shopee/Lazada/11street from the official stores of Watsons

Repurchase/Recommended?

Repurchase: ABSOLUTELY YESS!
Recommended: YES! For those with oily/combination skin, gel type moisturizer will works great on you since it is lightweight and for those who is still searching for a gel type moisturizer to try, I will recommend you to try this unless if you allergic to any ingredients in this product. Always remember, what works on me might not work on you and vice versa (YMMV).

Lawless Lawyer | K-Drama Review

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Guess who's back for another K-Drama review?
(yeah of course it's me, who else right? Hahaha)

So as for this time, I'm going to review another K-Drama that has managed to grab my attention and yes obviously had also stolen my time where I supposed to do my night routine but instead I spent it watching this drama hahaha.

Okay! Without further ado, let's jump into the review~

Title : Lawless Lawyer

Genre : Law

Number of Episodes : 16

Main Cast : Lee Joon-gi  as  Bong Sa-pil
                                                          : Seo Ye-ji  as  Ha Jae-yi
                                                          : Lee Hye-soung  as  Cha Moon-sook
                                                          : Choi Min-soo  as  Ahn O-joo

Personal Rating : ★★★★★/5

Synopsis :

Bong Sang-pil is works as an attorney and has one of the highest win rates in the country but none other people except himself knew that he has a very bad past that had made him stronger than before during his childhood days.

18 years ago, when Bong Sang-pil was a little kid, he lived with his mother who works as a lawyer in Gisung and at that time, his mother took on a case that Judge Cha Moon-sook got involved with and Judge Cha Moon-sook was the most respected person in the city.

One night, Bong Sang-pil witnessed his own mother's death through his innocent eyes and the person whom killed his mother was Judge Cha Moon-sook subordinate ; Ahn O-joo. Bong Sang-pil then got out of Gisung so that the bad guy who killed his mother won't find him and lived with his gang boss uncle ; Choi Dae-woong. He decided to become a lawyer to take revenge on those who responsible for his mother's death.

After 18 years living in a suffer from his mother's death, Bong Sang-pil now works as a lawyer. One fateful day, he saw news on television that a detective was arrested for killing the mayor of Gisung and it seems that the detective holds a key to the murder of Bong Sang-pil's mother. He then returned to Gisung for the first time in 18 years and opened up a law office at the exact building where his mother has been killed.

Meanwhile, Ha Jae-yi is a lawyer with integrity. She beats up a judge in a court and get her law license suspended and she took a decision to return to her hometown ; Gisung. There, Bong Sang-pil approach her and get her to work with him at his law office. However, there was a reason why Bong Sang-pil ask Ha Jae-yi to work with him and this is because he holds a secret related to the death of Ha Jae-yi's mother.

Plot :

I do admit that this plot is way much understandable and not in a fast pace like SUITS so I think that if I can understand the plot clearly, I think other people will understand this drama too. Everything about this drama is GREAT! It doesn't have much loopholes as every questions in this drama have their own answers and the flashbacks are really useful in connecting events but there is only one thing that I wish I could watch more which is the suffering of Judge Cha Moon-sook. I really wanna see her getting drag down really bad and suffer more as part of her consequences for killing Sang-pil's mother and made both Sang-pil and Jae-yi suffered for over 18 years!

But other than that are great! It is an enjoyable drama which fit my likeness whereas the main character of the drama falling in love plus the old fate thing that keep them together. Ahh I really like this type of drama. And yeahh beware with lots of mixed feelings when watching this drama (but I think most K-Drama played with feelings, damn! Poor my sensitive heart)

Characters :

I really loves the idea of getting revenged for Sang-pil mother is not using an eye for an eye term but using the law itself and this is what made the character(s) (How should I described it? Uhm, shine? Yeahh maybe shine will do) shined in this drama.

I can see how determined Sang-pil was to find his mother's killer and most importantly the 'master' of the evil plan that have killed his mother which is Judge Cha Moon-sook using justice that she has pretend to practice. I mean he could just have killed her since his uncle is a gangster but that plot will be too easy yet boring hahaha.

And I do admit that I really love how Sang-pil's character is actually kind of 'cunning' guy whom managed to get all the information that can be used to drag the bad guys down and always seems to have a backup plans hahaha.

Even though this is his own fight, but he is surrounded by the people who always stays by his side and supported him undoubtedly no matter what happens and I think this is what makes the character became stronger in order to protect the one that he loves.

As the story revolves, the character of Ha Jae-yi came into the spotlight with a hint that she and Sang-pil might have some connections about the death of Sang-pil's mother. And it looks like that Sang-pil has been watching over Jae-yi for quite a time.

I must say that Jae-yi is a person who cares a lot about the person she loves ; her father and of course his namja chingu, Bong Sang-pil. When she started to know about the harsh yet shocking truth about the person who she always look up to (Judge Cha Moon-sook), she supported him 100% and always by his side.

Their romance scenes is something that just perfect enough! My little soft yet sensitive heart became warm whenever their romance scene came and I just love couple who supports each other!

Now, shall we move on to the next character which I really felt sympathy for?

And the award goes to (drum rolls) ; Ahn Oh-joo!

In my opinion, he is way much better being a gangster than a politician and the fact that he's only been used by the evil Judge Cha Moon-sook for her own benefits is killing me. I mean, look at him! He has been giving away his precious life as a gangster who has a complete freedom, tied like a dog by that evil witch judge!

He thought that he is smart enough by being Judge Cha's loyal dog so that he could earn the benefits but it looks like the table has turn, my friend. He does not realize what Judge Cha is actually planning to do with him which actually only destroyed him (poor guy).

[SPOILER]
But he seriously ended his life at the place he grown familiar with ; the fish market area.

Conclusion :

This another great drama that has managed to grab my attention and there is nothing that I will regret about this drama. What else can I ask for? A great plot, amazing characters and such a great ending even though the ending is lack of something just like what I said earlier.

There a lots of scenes that managed to make my tears fall like Niagara Falls, I swear!

But the best scene of all the scenes was the scene where Ahn Oh-joo fight alongside with Sang-pil when he was warded due to being stab by his late uncle's man. I really love that scene and how cute they were at that time hahaha.

Apart from all that cute scene, I really have a bad feeling about Judge Cha though. She doesn't seem to be a person who will let herself be sank in the karma and it felt that she just has something up in her sleeves again.

JUST LOOK AT THOSE EYES DURING THE ENDING! IT CREEPS ME OUT!
So, I really recommended this drama for everyone to watch but I completely understand if any of you who read this review wouldn't enjoy this drama :)

Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion (Light) | Review

Assalamualaikum and heyy guyss!

We almost reach the end of July and time sure flies fast, huh? Just another few more months to enter 2019 but I'm sure I will stay busy with lots of things for sure ahahaha.

Anyway, as for this time, I'm back for another skincare review that I have procrastinated a really long time due to my lack of time and even if I have such a little time, I spend it up with relaxing around because I'm too tired to write anything out hahaha.

(p/s : As for anyone who has ever been wondering ; 'What the heck is this girl has been busy for?'. The answer is I'm neither working nor further study, but I'm a 24/7 'housewife' and a babysitter and by that means that I'm handling all the things inside the house including taking care both of my younger siblings as both of my parents are working. I need to prepare breakfast, I need to send them to schools and there's a lot more household chores that I need to be done. That's all and thank you for coming to my ted talks.)

Okay. Shall we proceed to the review? Let's go!

This hydrating toner is just like the other toner which is watery and very light compared to Hydrating Lotion (Rich) and Premium Hydrating Lotion which is quite thick and essence-like plus it really does absorb fast. Does it Work for Me?

This product came in a set along with the Hydra & Whitening Face Wash and Hydrating Water Gel that I bought during my first skincare haul. Honestly said, this products is absolutely a game changer in my skincare routine and really helps my dehydrated skin a lot!

When you're skin is dehydrated, your skin is actually lack of water and it will create more oil to make up for the missing water hence your skin can feel oily and dry at the same time. That is what actually happening to me which I have combination to oily skin.

And when you're having such a great amount of  oil at your skin, the excess oil will trapped in the pore and combine with the dead skin cells and bacteria on the surface of the skin and inside the pore, pimples, blackheads and other blemishes will form.

So, to overcome this problem, you can try to find product that contains humectants (ingredients that draws water molecules out of its environment towards itself which means it will draws water to your skin to retain its natural moisture) such as Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, Sodium Lactate, Urea, Lactic Acid, Sorbitol and Butylene Glycol.

So, back to our topic, this is my HOLY GRAIL product that has actually works wonder for my skin. My skin is no longer combination to oily but more to normal to oily. I did not expect that my skin really loves Hyaluronic Acid and I'm already on my second bottle! It has been almost 4 months since the first day I started to use this product and the results are absolutely amahzing and I can see the result 1-2 months after using this product. Can't believe that my skin has fully recovered from those excessive oil and I can't being grateful enough!

Plus, according to Kak Mai, HYDRATION IS THE KEY!
Before you tackle your acne problem with dozens of acne treatments, I suggest you to hydrate your skin first as if your skin is fully hydrated, you won't be having the serious acne problems unless if you are struggling with PIH/PIE because you still need extra treatment besides hydration [read here how to remove PIH/PIE acne scars]

Pros :

✿ Fast absorption
                            ✿ Really hydrate my skin
✿ Does not has any weird smell
✿ Made my skin smooth and supple
✿ A little drops goes a long way (mine last up to 3-4 months)

Cons :

✿ Quite pricey
✿ Contains paraben so if you're allergic to paraben, you might need to avoid trying this product

Final Rating :

★★★★★/5

SUITS | K-Drama Review

Assalamualaikum and hello! We meet again guys!

Ahhh I have been very busy lately and all of my previous posts were all about skincare so this time, I'm gonna do a review of another K-Drama which has ended last Tuesday (26 July 2018) named SUITS.

I don't know if I'm the only one who hyped over this series but I SWEAR THIS SERIES IS THE BEST! I mean, I really loves a series that focusing on a career like Lawless Lawyer or A Poem A Day or Criminal Minds (South Korea) or Cross or Introverted Boss or Emergency Couple or Super Daddy Yeol or Who Are You? and many more as the list go on hahaha  (which I gain knowledge about the career) and it's an extra if they put some, you know love story about the main character or the even the side character because to me, I think that is the kind of reality that we have. We have own our career and also found the other half of us in the same time. So, I really loves this kind of plot instead of just a normal love story.

I actually had missed lots of episodes that aired on the tv on 8TV (I'm grateful that 8TV Malaysia serves most of the best K-Drama starting 2015) and I'm hella worried if this series ended before I could watch the final episodes so I just read the recap of the previous episodes to catch up and crossing my fingers that the series won't ended on tv hahaha. But guess what? I do lucky enough that it still hasn't ended yet and that week (Monday & Tuesday) was the final week! If only you could see how happy I am that night and I'm almost dancing to myself hahaha.

So, let's cut the talking and let's started my review~

Title : SUITS

Genre : Legal drama

Number of Episodes : 16

Main Cast    : Jang Dong-gun as Choi Kang-seok
                                                               : Park Hyung-sik as Go Yeon-woo
                                                               : Chae Jung-an as Hong Da-ham
                                                               : Jin Hee-kyung as Kang Ha-yeon
                                                               : Ko Sung-hee as Kim Ji-na
                                                               : Choi Gwi-hwa as Cha Geun-sik

Personal Rating : ★★★★★/5

Synopsis :

Go Yeon-woo, a high school dropout who have an excellent memory had to quit school due to his poor background but he dreamed of becoming a lawyer and never had a chance. Both of his parents died in an accident when he was a kid. He work as a parking valet but the job does not gave him much earning to pay his grandmother's hospital bills so he had no other choice but to accept the job that his friend had offered him ; delivering drugs to a hotel room. But then he realized that it was a trap. At that time, Choi Kang-seok, a capable and distinguished lawyer of a prestigious law firm of Kang & Ham held an interviews session to recruit a rookie lawyer for the firm. Yeon-woo then dashed to Kang-seok's office to avoid being caught by the police. He pretended to be one of the candidate to be interview for the position. He managed to slip in the interview position after being questioned one question by Da-ham, Kang-seok's assistant which it seems to be that Yeon-woo is the only person who managed to have the right answer and that what made Kang-seok interested besides his intelligence and excellent memory ability. Kang-seok then learnt that Yeon-woo is a high school dropout and does not even have license to practice law but however, he decided to hire him as a rookie lawyer for the firm even though his own decision could put his career in an ultimate danger. How will Yeon-woo survived being a fake lawyer? Will anyone ever know his secrets other than Kang-seok? Will Kang-seok's decision worth the risk?

Plot :

The story started in a way that mostly everyone could understand and curious enough to make people  to continue watching the next episode including me. The plot expanded really well and not much plot twist happened which I really like and each character has their own strength in this story. I think everyone will be able to understand thoroughly every events that had happened and links that connected to each events but as for me, I somehow get confused with the plot and what was actually happening right there because the talking was really fast plus with all the facts coming out from their mouth plus the subtitle was in Bahasa Malaysia which terms might differ so I'M LOST! But fortunately, after reading the recaps, I finally be able to catch up with what were happening and come into my own senses. By the way, I really loves how they save the climax ; the part where everyone finally know that Yeon-weo is a fake lawyer at the last two episodes of 15 and 16 and let us know the reasons why Kang-seok insisted on choosing Yeon-weo as a rookie lawyer even though he does not have license to practice law. These last 2 episodes were really heart-warming as we can see that Yeon-weo is finally equal to Kang-seok  and how badly Kang-seok wantes to denied how similar he and Yeon-weo could be. I have a good instincts that they gonna be a really great team partner!

Characters :

As for characters and in the terms of reality, we can see that Yeon-weo is somehow a person who has a great feeling's traits where as he always felt sympathy and learnt how the people in his cases going through especially if it's not his own clients which is really bad in Kang-seok viewpoint and he hate it (at first hahah) but that what made him special from the other lawyer even though he is a fake lawyer but that does not stop him from doing his responsibilities as a rookie lawyer of Kang & Ham.

He kept doing his best despite of being told by Kang-seok that his way of handling his cases were wrong. He tried to use the chances that Kang-seok gave to him to change his life. And he's an honest guy too!

Let's talk about Kang-seok. He's a capable lawyer and he also always tried his best for the Kang & Ham's firm. Sometimes, I do questioned his actions most of time since he has the great thinking's trait which opposite with Yeon-weo and he always kept everything to himself (and made himself sick)

But despite that, he isn't a person whom put himself first before others. I think he finally learnt how to protect those people around him ever since Yeon-weo started to work there and I'm pretty sure he actually learnt a lot from Yeon-weo but of course he won't admit it pffftt hahaha. By the end of episode 16, I can see a strong bond between him and Yeon-weo which I'm really looking forward if there is any chance of  Season 2.

As for Geun-shik, I really loathe him as he continuously bugging Yeon-weo about being in the firm and kept threatening him that he suspects something fishy about Yeon-weo and won't let him out of his sight. (I mean, get a life, Geun-shik! You have better things to do instead of talking and feeding your goldfish!)

But, it seems that the tables has turned in the episode 15 where he started to realized that Ham Gi-taek just using him for his own benefits to destroy the company and he changed for the sake of the firm. (I just like this new Geun-shik!)  And he even vote when Kang-seok said that everyone should acknowledge Yeon-weo as their own colleague even though he is a fake lawyer as he has saved the firm twice!

And my favourite scene of Geun-shik was where he came to 'rescue' Yeon-weo when he turn himself in at the police station. It was rare to see Geun-shik with Yeon-weo without the hate feeling but I
must say I loved this scene!

And finally, let's appreciate Geun-shik's funny face hahahaha

p/s : I just have time to review three characters so if I have a free time, I will update it later, okay?

Conclusion :

This a drama that I think everybody should have a chance to watch, like GO WATCH NOW because it really worth all the hype. I don't watch the original masterpiece but I think I really prefer this one. You can get into the trains of feelings when watching this drama. You can feel funny, sad or even angry in one time but I really do cried a lot in episodes 15 and 16.

Yeon-weo was really close with his grandma and he will do his very best to make his grandma happy and stay in a healthy condition so when he failed, he really felt that everything was his fault but his grandma was the nicest person in the Earth and the wisest person too. I wonder if I will get wiser as I am older as grandma too.

Just watch this masterpiece and get the feelings by yourself and I guarantee you that you will love it!

Where to Watch :

So, this the end of my review for today. I hope that if any of you has started to watch this drama, please watch it until the final episodes and I really hope that you will enjoy this drama!

See you in my next entry! Thank you for reading!

based on CosDNA
Based on CosDNA, this product contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) which can be a very bad ingredient for those who have a sensitive skin.

But it also contains Glycerin, one of the hydrating ingredients that can increase the amount of water in your skin cells so that your skin wouldn't get dehydrated and your skin won't creates more oil to make up for the missing water which can lead to breakout, irritation and dry patches.

As for me, I would really avoid SLS and any other harmful ingredient that can cause acne or comedogenic because I obviously don't want to trigger all those whiteheads of mine to pop out and say hi to me hahaha.

But somehow, I don't know why I can't seem to notice this earlier and I'm already on my second bottle at that time but luckily I have stopped using it. Pheww!

How To Use?

✿ Wet your hands and squeeze a small amount onto your palm.
✿ Lather with water and massage gently in circular motion onto your wet face.
✿ Rinse thoroughly with water.

Does It Work for Me?

At first I thought that I have finally found the almost perfect cleanser through my first shot for my twice a day usage and I'm already on my second bottle at that time but I was wrong. As I said earlier, I didn't notice that this product contains SLS and no wonder that my skin felt tight after washing my face. The kind of tight feeling that makes me uncomfortable but not that much and due to that reason, I just shrug it off  and continue using it anyway hahaha. But luckily, I stop using this product after using it's second bottle after I finally gave up on this (I'm sorry) and I want to try another cleanser that won't make my skin tight after my washing routine. I'm really lucky that I don't experienced any breakout or having another 'guests' on my face after using this but I just don't really like the tight feeling. And for additional info, this product doesn't have any weird smell or anything so if you want to try this product, you don't have to worry about the smell.

Pros :

✿ Long lasting (mine last up to over 2 months)
✿ Did not breaking me out
✿ Did not have any weird smell
✿ Travel-friendly
✿ Affordable
✿ Low pH

Cons :

✿ Made my skin feel tight

Final Rating :

1 : BAD!
[Having a terrible breakout!]

2: MEH!
[Doesn't work for me and/or having a slight issues]

3 : OKAY!
[Product was great and work well but still lack of something]

4 : GREAT!
[A really great product that works well for me but has a potential for me to cheat]

5 : AMAHZING!
[A complete HOLY GRAIL product and I will devoted myself to you till the end of my life!]

Where To Buy?

✿ Buy it from the drugstores all around Malaysia such as Watsons/Guardian/etc
✿ Buy it online through Lazada from the Official Stores of Watsons/Guardian/Rohto Mentholatum

Repurchase/Recommended?

Repurchase : NOPE
Recommended : Well honestly I don't really have the guts to recommend products for people out there since YMMV and this product contains SLS which can be a harmful ingredient for those with sensitive skin and I think everyone should avoid it but if you're totally confident with this product with a belief that this won't make you breakout, then that's okay! :)
